Make sure your door uses a Euro profile cylinder. WELOCK cylinders are not designed for every lock or door type.
Measure the total door thickness from the outer surface of one escutcheon to the outer surface of the other.
Measure the distance from the edge of the door to the centre of the cylinder.
An electronic lock cylinder replaces the mechanical cylinder in a compatible Euro profile door. It allows the door to be unlocked without a traditional key, using a fingerprint, PIN code, RFID card, Bluetooth, or the WELOCK app, depending on the model.
The main door and locking mechanism remain in place. For remote access and Alexa and Home Assistant integration, a compatible WELOCK WiFiBox3 is required.
A smart lock cylinder replaces the existing lock cylinder. Many other smart locks are mounted on the inside of the door or replace other lock parts. WELOCK focuses on electronic lock cylinders for Euro profile doors.
Not always. For local use by fingerprint, RFID, Bluetooth or nearby app access, WiFi is not always required. For remote control, Alexa or Home Assistant, a compatible WELOCK WiFiBox is required.
If fingerprint access is your main need, models such as U81, Touch41, or ToucA51 may be suitable. Also check door thickness and whether you need extra functions such as RFID, app access or keypad.
It depends on the model. For rental use, models such as U81, ToucA51 Pro with PIN code, temporary password or remote access are usually more suitable. Check the model functions before buying.
WELOCK models with USB emergency opening can be opened with a power bank in an emergency. The USB port is for emergency opening, not for charging the batteries.
